I like Golden Fluid Acrylic...but I've heard good things about DaVinci brand Fluids as well. If you already have the heavy body acrylic paint, you don't need to buy anything else...that'll be fine! Even those crafty paints that come in a squirt bottle will work.
We'll start out with a very limited palette...(We are going to learn color mixing)
Primary Yellow Quinacridone Red Ultramarine Blue Carbon Black Titanium White
Support:
I like using watercolor paper ... a heavy (140#) watercolor paper works great. Canvas...if you want to go that route, is fine. It's a bit more cumbersome to schlep to and from class though.
Brushes:
A round and a flat... We won't be working very large, because of space restraints... A 1/2 inch flat is a good basic size brush... A 10 or 12 round If you want a 3rd brush...a 1 inch flat is a good choice. Stick in an old house painting brush if you have one, too. An angled sash brush comes in really handy at times.
