Watercolor paper (at least 8 x 10 size)
Strathmore Watercolor Tablet
Watercolor Paint
Tube color (this will last you for quite a long while)
Grumbacher Academy tube
• Cerulean Blue
• Paynes Gray
• Yellow (lemon)
Yellow Ochre
New Gamboge yellow
Watercolor Brushes
o # 8 or #10 round
o # 4 round (with a good pointy point)
Black waterproof marker pen…(fine point….Sharpie is fine)
From home:
• A white plate (to use as a palette) plastic or foam disposable is fine (no eating off it after
you’ve used it for a palette!) Divided food spaces preferred.
• 2 water containers (plastic cups are fine)
• Squirt bottle (like for misting plants..or re-cycle a windex or hairspray bottle)
• Ruler
• White plastic eraser or any soft eraser
• Pencil (regular 2b)
• Old hand towel (you won’t want to use it for guests after this)
• Small amount of tissues (a travel pack would be plenty)
• Large trash bag to cover your table
Optional:
Tracing paper (If you aren’t comfortable drawing)
Drafting tape (in the technical drawing area…with the compasses and such)
