I started this weeks painting last fall....actually it started as
an example for a watercolor class I was teaching....I was
demonstrating hard edges, leaving the white of the paper,
negative painting, wet in wet...just a smorgasbord of
techniques :D.

...now, let’s fast forward 11 months to last Saturday....While
watching Ryder Cup action....I kept going with it...I have 3
neon Prismacolor pencils (neon yellow orange and red) that
I used on the white bits of paper...and   YEOWZERS!...It looks
almost as if it’s lit from behind!  Then I just added a bit more
opaque Prismacolor (white and light Blue) and I decided this
weeks painting was done early!    (How very strange) .

..Just a fun and frivolous doodle.....All I can think of when I
look at it is “Neon Garden”....(This is where they grow the
neons for the signs in case you were unaware of this fun fact :
D )
